Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) Project, Conversion Team, Constellation Energy Group

The Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing solution (CC&B) is scheduled for a May 2011 implementation at Baltimore Gas & Electric, a company that provides energy to more than 1.2 million businesses and residents of central Maryland. 

The CC&B Project team uses proven methodologies which integrate project sub-teams (functional, technical, conversion, integration, PMO, etc.) and support the lifecycle of the project effort.  Conversion activities include analyzing source and target data, designing physical mapping of source elements to target tables, and defining required data cleanup and manual conversion activities. The team's plans include executing tests and validating expected results, tracking defects and fixes, and deployment planning activities to support end-to-end Mocks, Dress Rehearsals and Cutover. 

Tools used include Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), SQL Developer, and Conversion Toolkit.
