December 7-8, 2011 - Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD - Army Team C4ISR's new Mission Training Facility at Aberdeen Proving Ground was the site for a 2 day presentation by the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence Surveillance & Reconnaissance organization.  Kenyata Wesley, Chief Associate Director for CECOM Office of Small Business Programs, presented a detailed overview on the CECOM small business environment.  Mr. Wesley pointed out that in 2012 there will be an increased emphasis on WOSB set-asides, prevention of the bait and switch of small business contractors and a stronger overall emphasis on subcontracting.  Mr. Nelson Keeler, Director SEC, described upcoming opportunities at the Software Engineering Center, including SSES NexGen - a 5 year $7B contract.  The SSES NexGen RFP was released in December, 2011.
