June 6-9, 2011 - Dallas, TX - Path Technologies attended the First Annual Defense Intelligence Information Enterprise (DI2E) Conference & Technology Demonstration.  The event was held at the Hyatt Regency Dallas which turned out to be an excellent venue.  DI2E is an evolving framework that seeks to integrate various Intelligence platforms, teams, data, etc. where possible.  While each actor and agency will have their own unique needs there is still plenty of opportunity to create common architectures that facilitate sharing.  Some of the more relevant presentations to Path Technologies centered on the DCGS-A systems.  Colonel Timothy P. Hill, Director of Futures, US Army Intelligence and Colonel Charles A. Wells, PM DCGS-A shared insight and success stories on the evolving DCGS-A platform.  This included the Army's first tactical cloud implementation which launched in Afghanistan in March 2011.
